A single tear lies on my cheek.
My voice is silent, I cannot speak.
My head is bowed, my heart a stone.
Sorrow deep for those now gone.
My Brother's daughters, my Sister's sons.
Different countries, but now we're one.
Your pain is mine, your anger too.
They do to me what they did to you.
Take my hand, let my arms surround.
Let that NY site be our common ground.
One single tear, but please God above.
Let that tear that falls become a sea of love.
